yay! boo...
So, that is my proud face. I'm happy because today I took (and finished 1 hr 45 mins and six front/back pages later *OUCH for my hand*) my first exam as a grad student! Since I know you guys will not cheer and congratulate me, I'll do it myself...now:yay yay yay. Well, the celebration is obviously a bit premature since a) I may have failed that mother-effer and b) I have an even bigger and badder test this Monday (which I will take after a weekend in Miami and a weekend of not studying). I have spent the last four hours preparing for it (and god, there is so much good Halloween t.v. on), and I still have lots to go. Of course, I know that we all gripe and moan about our work, so the point of this post is not to do that, but to say I feel like I've reached my first checkpoint, and it is really scary but rewarding all in one.
